Our Truffles

Our truffles have their origin in Teruel which is the world leader in the production of the Tuber melanosporum, the best black truffle with great international prestige.
The farming is ecological and environmentally friendly, and needs very specific geological and climatological conditions for the perfect growth of the truffles.

The Tuber melanosporum grows about 20-30 cm below ground in symbiosis with other tree roots such as Holm oaks, Oaks, Kermes Oaks and Hazel. It has such an intense aroma and exquisite taste that makes it a highly valued fungus at a gastronomic level.

The harvest time is from December-March, being the period when we offer our seasonal, fresh, and best quality truffles.

We have our home-grown harvest and the support of an exclusively chosen group of small-scale local producers who have joined our project with the key objective of providing our clients with a guaranteed premium quality product.

This is a black winter truffle with little grater.

Our truffles are traditionally harvested at their peak of maturation with the aid of expertly trained dogs. After being brushed off and cleaned, they are full of freshness and aroma and are ready for the kitchen.

They are classified according to the following categories: Extra, First-class and Second-class and thus adapted to the needs of each of our clients.
